The Republic of the Oasis Islands

Friends,

 

Over the last few years, I have had the honor of associating myself with the MicroWiki Community. Over the course of these years, I have had the opportunity to lead nations, run organizations and add my two cents to matters of micronational importance.

 

But all good things must come to an end, and this is no different. That is why today I announce I am resigning the Presidency of the Oasis Islands and ceasing my professional attachment to the MicroWiki Community. In all of this, I also have declared the Oasis Islands dissolved.

 

Please know that this is not related to the community’s current status or its future. I feel confidently about the future of this community, and I hope to continue visiting and commenting on events happening in the community as a casual observer, as opposed to as an active participant.

 

I would like to thank everyone who has facilitated (or simply put up) with the Hamlinian Republic, the Oasis Islands, the IMTO and just my general presence. I wish you all the best of luck as your micronations continue to grow and thrive, and I look forward to seeing how this very unique and special community grows and transforms for (hopefully) years to come.
